Wordacus

Paul was the patron saint of healthy livers and the king of wishful thinking. Rob’s Corolla came with an extended warranty while Travis arrived without a manual. Brittany’s son was born under the flicker of fluoros and now she couldn’t afford the electricity. And four years of high school had taught Travis that Pythagoras was dead and that Macleod’s daughters bared their breasts slower than the saints of St Helena…

Wordacus presents six location-based stories from six different perspectives using a bespoke system that rotates hundreds of double-sided cubes. Audiences spin each word cube to reveal another story on the reverse side, and discover in the process that there are two sides to every story. The stories of Wordacus and its story system were written and designed by Matt Blackwood with artwork by Csilla Csongvay. The six stories of Wordacus can be read here.
